here. I have given many hours and hit many brick walls. I have been frustrated 
but often delighted during my research. What began as idle curiosity has 
become 
a passion to me as any genealogist will verify. I have discovered long lost 
relatives and families I never knew existed. I have added more and more 
surnames to my tree as each branch progresses. This will be an ongoing project

My own family name Barlow originates in Cheshire UK where the Barlow family 
held a seat from ancient times. The family Motto is `EN FOI PREST` which means 
Ready In Faith. I was born in Cheshire which means a lot to me that my family 
name originated there and we are still in abode in the same locality.
